GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
Article 1 : The client assumes total responsibility of the hired equipment from the moment it is received. In the case of equipment not returned, under whatever circumstances, the client will be charged the purchase cost of the equipment new, plus the rental cost.
Article 2 : The equipment is rented in good condition for the intention of normal use, and with respect to the category to which it is defined and recognised. It must be returned in such condition. All equipment is numbered or distinguished. It must be returned with the same numbers or distinguishing marks. Any deterioration in condition will result in the client bearing the cost of repairs or in the case of irreparable damage, the purchase cost of the equipment new, plus the rental cost.
Article 3 : The hired equipment is to be used only by the client whose name appears on the rental contract. The equipment must not be sub-rented or loaned to anyone else. The client undertakes to use the equipment hired for himself.

Article 4 :The client can opt to take guaranty with the equipment. This guaranty covers replacement purchase costs in the case of loss, theft or damage. The client takes responsibility for any other consequence not covered by this guaranty. Even when the guaranty option has been taken an excess can be applied to the equipment in the case of loss, theft or damage (please refer tot general conditions of rental displayed in the shop or on the reverse of the rental contract).

Article 5 : The duration of the rental is fixed for the period determined on the rental contract. The day begins at 8.00 and ends at 19.00. This duration cannot be modified without prior written notification to the rental shop. The rental cost starts the day the equipment is taken and finishes the day the equipment is returned. Each rental day is subject to public tariffs.
Article 6 : A piece of identity may need to be presented before the equipment is rented.
Article 7 :In the case of overdue payment, or in the case of the equipment not being returned, or in the case of damaged equipment, the client having previously supplied a credit card number or an imprint of this card, authorises and gives exceptional permission to the shop to debit the amount from his bank account for any outstanding payments in accordance with the public tariff.
Article 8 : Payment must be received for the hired equipment at the foreseen payment date. Penalties for delayed payment will be applied, at one and a half times the legal interest rate.
Article 9 : The rental contract is subject to French law.
